Another Mikelson show done

Thu Jul 30, 2009, 6:34 AM
  • Mood: Tense
  • Listening to: jazz
  • Reading: nothing because I'm busy painting
  • Watching: my pallette dry in this diculous heat
  • Playing: with paint
  • Eating: heavily salted edemame beans
  • Drinking: coronas with lime
I must say that despite a ton of reservations and needless worrying about the attendance and sales at the show this year it was a huge success. During the show I sold 13 paintings and added 4 more sales after the show three of which will be commissions. The highlight of the show was the family who was redoing their summer house in Crescent Beach and bought 8 of the gull pieces in one go. Very unexpected but a perfect end to my 7th Mikelson show. Fortunately/unfortunately the gull series is sold out. Thank you to all of my faithful patrons and some new ones for your continued support.

Hallo, Mr.Gordon...
You might already know, but I'll just post it here anyways...
LFA is doing the Remembrance Day exhibition and it's opening on Thursday, Nov. 5th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
It continues until Monday, December 7th and it's being held in the Mary Pratt Gallery inside the school.
So, yeah. If you don't really have much to do, which I doubt since teachers seem like really busy people, then here's something that may interest you.
